Sometimes you want to be able to add a discount code to your ONIX or advance information sheet, so that you can communicate a discount on the price to a group of customers without having to say publicly what the actual percentage rate is.

To set a discount code, add it by supplier for the particular work.

• Go to Work > Metadata
• Click to edit the Dates region and click Manage supplier-specific values
• On the Supplier-specific values page, select the correct discount code from the dropdown.
• The link is also available on the Pricing > Tax, status, and configuration region.
• If you don’t see a discount code column, or the correct discount code for the market there, raise a ticket. The Consonance team will set up the discount codes (on a particular supplier config) as a one-off system task before you can use them.
